Day at the lake!

Today we decided to take a trip to the lake since Ava is always talking about ducks. We gathered all of our old bread, bagels and english muffins and pointed the truck north to the lake.

Once there Ava got soooo excited when she saw the ducks. She kept saying, "Duckie, Hi Duckie. Woof woof." According to Ava, dogs and ducks make the same sound.

As you can see by the pictures, our lovely child couldn't resist giving herself a few bites of bread as well. (Don't worry, the bread she was sharing wasn't the old bread.)
