I had a c-section scheduled for Wed. May 6th, but unexpectedly went into labor a little before midnight on Monday. I managed to control the contractions til the doctor had us go to the hospital at 11:00am Tues. We dropped of Ava with her "pa-pa" and headed to the hospital. We got admitted and I had been hooked up to the monitors and checked by the nurse. She told us we would have 45 min before we would be off to the OR for the c-section. I don't really think we were prepared for it to happen that fast. My mom and dad rushed Ava to the hospital to await the arrival of her new baby brother! Everything went really well... Charlie is so adorable and Ava cant get enough of her new baby.
He is so adorable! I'll have to plan a visit in the upcoming weeks. Once you are up for visitors.
