Well, well, well. . . The time has finally come. My baby is 1!!! I am in total shock because wasn't it just yesterday that he was a newborn?!? Time flies! Jeff, Ava and I took Charlie to Claim Jumper tonight for a birthday dinner. We had such a wonderful time! Sometimes life gets so crazy we forget to just relax and enjoy some time as a little family of 4. Actually, half way through dinner Ava looked up at us and said, "I'm so happy." Jeff and I just looked at eachother and smiled. At the end of our meal, they brought Charlie a cupcake with a candle. My eyes teared up just a bit as we sang Happy Birthday to him. . .Charlie is such a sweet boy. He has the cutest little smile that can light up a room in a second. And did I mention, a total MOMMA'S BOY! He is attached to my hip, and I'm guessing will remain that way til he's 30! I love every second of it. His 2nd favorite person is his big sissy. He recently started crying when we drop off Ava at school. He cant stand to be separated from her. We've always called Ava "Bubba" and now Charlie sees her and says, "Bu-bu-bu-bu."
Anyway, we love you so, so, so much sweet boy! Happy Birthday Bug-bug!
